I read some info on it from many places, including MNSubaru. I have all the fluids and equipment, but I keep on hearing about a "filter" piece. What's this all about.........and can somebody help me change my tranny fluids.

I don't have a garage or workable space to do the work. Much thanks!

I'm not aware of a filter piece...maybe their talking about a funnel?

I use a funnel with a flexible end so it's easy to get the fuilds in the tranny & rear diff. without any drama.

I live in EP and will be around tonight if you need guidance.....PM me if needed.

A parking spot will do. Not so sure about the filter you speak of, I never saw one.

yes, as Erik mentioned you need a long funnel and it helps if it's flexible. you can pick them up at any auto store...

no to removing the intercooler, no to any filter if its 5MT..... and if it's auto then you wouldnt be doing the scotties mix anyways...
