Hello all. I picked up an '06 WRX to repair for my girlfriend (and me) hit in the left front. Not to fear, I work for a frame/body/alignment shop so I can keep my cost reasonable on the stuff I can't do. My questions lie in the engine area. I have done a little research and really didn't find any detailed engine removal info. I ordered an engine manual as I will have to pull the motor and heads to service at least the valve train. I would like to know if there are any real Do's and Don'ts to one of these engines. Gasket reuse/replace? Maybe procedure order? I plan on keeping it basically stock. It sounds like a few members have removed and/or serviced their own. Advice or instruction is welcomed. Thanks, Howie
replace what you can, might as well if you are taking anything apart. make sure everything is disconnected and label what you can.
OEM subaru gaskets are good. Did you get a chance to call Band A Cylinderhead yet and talk to Matt about pricing on PnP the heads and testing them on the flow bench? I am curious as to what he cam up with for pricing.

Thanks for the info, I am sure that he and I are on the same page and I will get wher I planned on.
