    Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I'm looking for someone
who can swap out an engine for my 1996 Outback, 2.2L. My vehicle
is operable and I could drive it to you. (Of course, I wouldn't drive it
    to Duluth or anything;-)
I/you would be getting an engine from Upull in Minneapolis. If interested,
please pm me with a "rough estimate" of what a project like this would
    cost? Thanks!

The mechanic I regularly use did an engine swap on a '96 Legacy I have for about $300. I bought an engine off car-parts.com for about $350 delivered to his shop without a core charge. Later sold the old motor which needed head gaskets and a rear main seal for $150 on Craigslist. The mechanic I use is in Mound (Eddies Auto and Marine).

Thanks for the info! I have to gather together the funds, but at least those
    prices seem doable ;-)
