Yep. Simple install...not so simple. The OEM brackets on my 02 WRX Wagon don't seem to be compatible with the perrin 22mm rear sway bar. Even though the directions say to use them when not using the stout mount system. The brackets have little tabs on the sides that make it impossible to use with perrin bushings. Not sure if anyone has any brackets that will actually work laying around, but I need my car back together, and I'd rather have the perrin bar installed.

I have the perrin endlinks as well...I tried to put the stock swaybar back on, and that doesn't want to comply either. The angle of the top bolt won't line up with the endlinks. The directions say that the top bolt needs to be reversed, but it doesn't seem compatible either way. Since one of my OEM endlinks is FUBAR, I can't really put that back on either. So, anyone with these parts, or some time tomorrow to help, I would greatly appreciate it. this sux.

    Thanks,
    - Justin

I have a set of 04 WRX mounts sitting downstairs that I won't be using for another couple of weeks.

I can't get them to you tomorrow (unless you live in Plymouth or the western burbs) but you can run without a rear swaybar for awhile and I'll gladly let you use them until I can get some new ones from BP Subaru. (read: sell them to you for what I paid) I'm not sure if they'll **** with the Whiteline bushings... my 02 WRX brackets didn't with my whiteline swaybar... Anyway, PM me if you're interested. If you hit me back soon, I might be willing to run to you tonight.

I had great results with the engine stuff from perrin...but this sux. The 04 brackets have 2 bolts (one on each side). The 02's on my wagon, have a little clip that you insert into the mount, then there's one bolt on the other side. So dumb.

Aha! I thought this was all whiteline stuff. (note to self: read original post a little better)

I bought some Perrin Suspension stuff, once. Endlinks. They didn't fit right and they were so poorly constructed that they caused the bolts inside the endlink bearing sleeves to snap (twice) when the bearing sleeves were subjected to 'excessive' loads. 'Excessive', in this case, meant 'daily driving'.

    **** Perrin.

I was just looking at the brackets...I wonder if I replaced the whole mount, if it would be compatible. Theses friggin endlinks are dumb. The angles are all stupid and don't want to mate up with the stock sway bar. But then again, If I had the 04 mounts, I could put the perrin bar on, since the bracket is compatible with the perrin bushings. Since i cant get the damn bolt out of the original endlink, if someone has an OEM endlink available, that would be nice :)

I really need to work on my communication skills. I have an 04 Swaybar mount for an Impreza. Beefier than the 02 mount. It shouldn't break. If you can wait, I should be getting my Kartboy Endlinks tomorrow and I will give you my stock rear endlinks. As far as I can tell they are the same as the Impreza endlinks.

    You have a PM coming.

If you want to take a look at the 04 mounts on an 02, let me know. I did the upgrade when I went to my Whiteline rear bar. The 04 mounts are beefier and a better mounting system to boot.
