Looking for an experienced mech familiar with 2004 WRX STi to come onsite and help with replacing cam position sensor and possible some additional diagnostics. Car has had all maintenance done and bone stock. It threw a CEL P0340 early this year which puts car in limp mode after a couple of miles driving normally and not under boost. Subaru Morries BP diagnosed it and went with my opinion that it could be a clogged banjo screen filter (source: NASIOC) and suggested a full service to turbo oil feed line and possible turbo replacement ($2500+) which I think is a bit too hasty of a recommendation. There are other areas that could be checked first like the aforementioned cam pos sensor, belt tensioner, or a grounding problem among other things. Turbo does not make any unusual noise and the car drives fine for a couple of miles.
    Thanks!
