As the title says I need 4 wheels sandblasted so i can get them painted. I tried the chemical stripper but that just didnt work all the way. So does anyone on here do sandblasting or know of a place to get it done at a good price.

New Image Coatings in Lino Lakes can get it done at a really good price. Just had them do my BBS's and they came out great! They can powder coat as well, obviously.

Primo Performance in New Brighton can do the stripping/blasting and powder coating or painting.

Any other places? Primo is little expencive, it used to be $200-220 for 16" wheels and now they want $280-300. Anybody can sandblast and powercoat for less than $230 for 16" wheels?

See my post above. They charge a lot less than that. Just give them a call.

I don't know if this guy is still around, but he was cheap 3-4 years ago. (just blasting, not painting)

Do you have their e-mail? The site says to e-mail them for quotes, but I don't see the address on there anywhere...

I just called them, don't have email. I think paint stripper is what I will try first and then sand it myself. I am still undesisive if I want to powercoat or paint them myself. This is winter setup and don't want to spend over $200 on it.

What was their quote for a complete job (prep and powdercoat)?

I think they blasted my wheels for about $35 each. I then had Ofspunk paint and clear coat them for me, and they turned out excellent (refer to profile pic).

About $80-90 per 16" wheel sandblast and powercoat.

If they're just winter wheels you might want to scuff them really good with a scotch pad, clean very thoroughly, then primer, paint, clear coat. Keep a full can of the color you used for touch ups. I should hold up really well as long as you prep good, use quality paint and don't run into anything too hard.
