Want to lowering my 2011 STi but not sure which spring/brand to go with. I'm lowering it for looks and daily use.

Set on springs or would you consider coilvers?

Coilovers are a horribad idea for a DD that sees winter use. A good set of springs will be fine. Swift or Epic Engineering probably still make decent units for newer models. There may be better options.

Sounds good thanks guys. I'm going with the Epic Engineering spring + flat black XXR-527 18X8.75 5x114.3 +35 wheels.

That's a bit wide for winter use. Plan on putting winter rubber on the stockers?

I only drive the STI during spring, summer and fall. When it's winter I drive my beater.

What are you going to do for dampers? Not a great idea to take the stockers (or any damper) out of their normal operating range... RCE has some really nice spring/bilstein combos. Given it's a dedicated spring/summer setup you might want to take a second look at coilovers, budget depending. Good springs/struts > mediocre coilovers.

It will look similar to this with the Epic Engineering spring and wheels. But I'm going with the flat black.

You can get the visual impact with a number of combinations. Just know your stock dampers are going to wear out faster than a damper designed for the drop.

I have an LGT so it's not exactly the same, but I've run a bunch of suspension setups. By *FAR* my favorite setup is KWv3's. No contest. Had I not wrecked a corner I'd be running those year round (with a sleeve to keep the grit out of the threads in the winter). I'm very happy with the bilstein and swift combo I'm running now; though I'd prefer the RCE blacks for a progressive setup which I feel is more appropriate for the road surfaces around here.

Talk to Miles at RCE. They'll point you in the right direction.
