I'll pay you CASH. car: 97 Honda Civic EX Coupe. Problem: I broke a bolt trying to screw it tighter. The broken bolt holds the Rear Driver side Upper Tie Rod. Its easy access. Just take off the wheel and its right there but its too cold and I never tap anything before. Besides, I have the tap kit but dont know how to use it. I do have drill/bits also. Car is driveable but not fast and far. I dont want to break the other bolt which is the only one thats holding the tie rod. Each tied rod has two bolts holding it, i broke one already. What I expect: You do everything including buying another bolt. If you "KNOW" you can fix this problem, lmk what you charge. thanks
You may want to provide a VIN number to whoever does this so that they can make sure they get the right bolt at the Honda dealership.
bump for my old car...id try hondatech, when i needed my transmission replaced i made a wtb thread and there were tons of locals ready to help. good luck
or take a picture of it. Chances are if you need to drill out and retap your going to need to use a bigger bolt.
