    no going to work. i cut it out after it broke and then cut it up to make a peice to cover the inside of my fog light. it is still covering about 2/3rds of the wheel well

    ok so dont drive it when its wet out without that splash guard on...unless you like vaporlock then thats your game...have fun with miller hill i can almost guarantee they'll hafta order it

    "Vaporlock" happens on old vehicles w/ mechanical fuel pumps when its real hot.


    I've been driving without fender liners for four years. You won't hydrolock your motor unless you try to ford a river. I'd just get a new one from the dealer; they aren't that expensive. Driving without it just makes your engine bay and air filter dirty.

    all i know is my gf's dad hydrolocked his vette at brainerd speedway, i think one of his pushrods is still on the mantle in the carclub so i'm a bit weary

    EVERYthing is cheaper on ebay... go there. You'll need the item serial# but it's worth it.
