Note to workers: We've made plans for every marshal to see cars on all 6 stages!! The 4 times cars pass your marshal location and moving to the Potlatch intersection to watch some cars on the other 2 stages from there. So, if you haven’t signed up to work yet... get on it!!
I can't give you a definitive answer, but given the layout of the forest, this would seem like a logistical impossibility.
wouldn't they be able to after 1A is over? they could go to the start of the 1B 1st stage and hang out til we come across the finish line?
You probably want them in service between the rallies? Right? ****WE NEED MORE WORKERS! PLEASE SIGN UP AT www.rallymasterpro.com/workers******
After studying the course and past videos last night I came up with a few comments...I'd like to share one of them. Mark Utecht- NO FAIR!!!! You do NOT need a Co-driver...you know those roads too well! In order to make it fair we are going to blind fold you so you can ONLY rely on your Co-Drivers ability to read the road and route book notes.
No NO NO That would mean we would be actually working on the car and myself and our other crew member are not wanting that so NO!
okay okay i get your point..no blindfolds....:hsugh: We'll settle on Mark driving the car backwards, and only using his Co-drivers left foot for steering, that should make it fair! That will slow him down..a little
I agree... although, I personally think my bannering times from last year can compare :laugh::laugh: signed up, here are my comments... Preferred Assignments: somewhere cool Comments Scuba Steve says it's unfair for Mark to race, I agree, it's like who's faster down their own driveway.
The point is I don't know the road. I have been accused many times of knowing the roads, I don't. What I do know is there aren't any "gotchas" except at the marshall point after the long straight in the clear area. When you have that in mind, it is very easy to just keep your foot in it. As for driving blindfolded, ask around, I used to drive like I was blindfolded. Then, slowly, I improved. Thanks for sticking up for me sweetie. Anyone can beat me in my own driveway. I can't get the damn car to hook up till I hit the road. Anyone that comes to the party on Saturday will see the evidence of my attempts to get the car to hook up.
I'm not really being serious. It's simply too amazing when you watch his videos on youtube how he man-handles that road. Some sort of jedi force stuff going on there:biggrin:
we'll be fast-ish. the exit acceleration is lacking but we'll try and make up for it by holding more speed through the corners. hopefully fancy DCCD mapping will give me a mental edge lol
I'll get pictures of it... the slowness that is... This will happen if Dan doesn't feed me too much booze Friday night

Cool, I'm down for getting pretty wrecked... For an entire weekend But I'll tell you what, Dan and I will go beer for beer and have contests throughout the night. We'll see who's drunker
kelly, will you be completely hammered after half a beer? no? dan will be drunker friday night let's keep it civil, we need a functioning crew for saturday.
Hey folks, We're looking for a few crews to help go out and banner the stages. It's a great opportunity to get to see almost every mile of the rally. We will have a quick meeting at 9:45 and leave for the woods AT 10. Please be prepared to leave immediately as we want to get everybody back to HQ so they can be re-deployed to their next assignment. Looking for 4 teams/cars. It's best to have a driver and a navigator. If you won't have a car at the event or are alone, we can pair you up with someone. Please email me directly if you want to help. We could really use it! Breon Nagy breonnagy [at] gmail [dot] com
