My cousin just got a used one and he was nice enough to give me a ride, it seemed pretty quick, but cars always do when you're in the passenger seat. Nice enough for the money he spent but nothing to look at compared to the STI or WRX. Just wondered what you guys thought of them. BTW it was totally stock, and the stock BOV drove me nuts in the 5 min I was in the car. In the end it’s still a Dodge and still neon. I wouldn't EVER buy one but seems ok for the money and how it performs.
the power that those cars have and can produce is just awesome! just that they are really scary for performance cars in stock form since they sit so hit with soft suspensions.
they are a great car for the money. for that price nothing can touch it. i considered it before buying my wrx because a friend of mine has an 04 srt4 but the fwd just wasnt gonna work for me. they are pretty quick for bein stock though, and even faster for very cheap. but its true in some sense they are still a neon, the quality of the interior and stuff like that is kinda poor compared to a wrx but for the money of the srt you cant really complain i guess cause they are way fast, havent heard of any major reliability issues yet either.

...any accident will kill you as well, they are death traps. but they are nasty, especially from a roll, a girlfreind of mine has an '04, we went from a roll last year (i was basically stock then) and she blew me away, from a stop though it was no contest. Their 1/4 mile times are very similar to a stock wrx, but with around 10 more MPH in the traps.
