I've always wanted to get a light bar when I picked up a Subaru and now I finally have one. Got it custom made for my car. One problem though...it sticks out too far. Got my measurements wrong, so it's going back to get shortened up. Then off come the PIAAs and on go four Lightforce 170s!!! Weeeee!!
*I also added Hella micro fog lights to my stock locations. See pic one.

looks like good quality. the lights are a little too close together for my taste. Also the extra bar that sticks out looks like it could be killer if you hit your knee/pedestrain on it.

    Eggroll- Thanks!

Justin- It does shake. It's because it's about 3 inches too far out. Like I said, the measuring on my part was off... a lot!! So he's going to fix it up for me so it doesn't shake anymore.

OCB- Never have I seen that thread until now. Looks good, but Hella 500's are weak!

For the record, I don't normally hit pedestrians! lol

The lights are close together because they are the driving pattern beam. Driving pattern beams are meant to be mounted as close together as possible. Fog lights are the ones that you want further apart due to the spread of light.

looks a lot better than the one you put one IMO, but whatever floats your boat.

I'm planning on adding one of the above one of these days. My wife just drove it into a pole today and gave the front end a few gouges and scratches to match the other side as well...

I'm not really interested in main stream bars that are overprice and really are only made for two lights. I wanted something different, stronger, and something that gave me more than one option for lights. Did I mention my bar was less than half the price of the rally innovations bar shipped?!
Plus, there is no place to visibly mount your Minnesota mandatory front plate and it could possibly divert air away from a FMIC and/or your radiator.
    Yea!

**Edit-- Another reason is a bar that supports lights that low to the ground would really only benefit a cornering or fog beam pattern. Running a driving beam light that low serves no purpose.
    Need I say more?!

ScandiaWRX should post up a pic of her bar with the PIAAs and the Hella FF1000 pencils on it.

Still have some of the FF1000 Pencils for sale, btw. Hint. Hint.
