    I'm wondering if they'll just melt after a while....I can't imagine they'll be all that temp resistant, and calipers can get some heat to them under hard braking.

    You can just spray paint slots on your rotors and wrap your break lines in tin foil. Full brake upgrade at a fraction of the cost!
