New Door okay I did a pretty dumb thing and damaged my door panel on my rear right door. Well body shop my guess will want to put a new door skin on it and paint it. As you can imagine that's some dollars i don't want to spend. Well i just called to junk yard somewhere and they can ship me a door for $400 that is quite the deal. Now the question is can somone confirm the door from an 02 will fit on 04 i think there the same but maybe i am wrong i have a 2004 sedan and this is coming from a 2002 sedan... Please advise any difrences mind your only the door skin is dmage and i can transfger the rest of my parts to the new door if needed trim window etc.
We've never done subaru door skins at work. I'm pretty sure you have to buy the entire shell from Subaru.
I can't imagine that a shell would still be cheaper then $400 with painting. Now I ran into problem is they do not ship th door so looks liek a long drive to Detroit. to get it... any words of wisdom on this woudl be great i am trying to cost effectively get this fixed.
