Hey all!! I just bought my first Subaru last week. :biggrin:It rides great! The major repairs had already been done (timing belt, Head gasket, brakes, rotors, etc.) I have had it for two weeks now and it runs flawlessly. I'll attach some pics. I love the color...it's red some days, maroon others and a copper orangeish most often. Fun stuff. Anyone have any reccomendations for good all season tires for this Subaru? Right now it has tiger paw tires on it. Looking forward to using this site!!!
I'm rocking the Tiger Paw's myself... they have been good to me for the last 7000 miles. Are yours nearing the end of their life, or are you just looking for something different? Welcome!
I was just getting ideas for what other folks are putting on their Subaru's for tires. Tiger Paws are the most common maybe? Mine prob. have about 50% tred left on them. I might look into new ones before the winter season...we'll see when that time comes.
I'm not sure what color rims would look best on the OBL. I kinda like the ones it came with. I hope to check out the salvage yards for some accessory pieces...like a hood and trunk visor, and so on. I'll keep the forum updated.
Find a good deal on rims here, then run winter tires on the stock rims, painted that is Our 02 OBL green with pink winters and our 02 WRB WRX green winters! Like the ride by the way!

Yay!! We found a second Subaru!! Hopefully I will be able to get it. I go check it out on Monday. It's the soonest i can get there! I'll keep you guys posted.
Nevermind on the forester. The wife decided she doesn't want a new car. All the more cash to put into my ouback!! I have some questions... 1. Do they make effective fender flares for the outbacks? 2. Where can I find cheap hood and trunk visors? Ebay? Salvage yards? 3. Do they make any sort of a baja bar to go on the front bumper of these outbacks? I see them on some foresters... 4. What's the law on window tint for wagons? 50% up by the driver and anything flies from there on back? Or is it 50% front and back seats? 5. Tires. Am I good with just one solid set of all seasons? or do you guys recommend two sets of rims and tires...summer and winter. That's it for now!! Thanks for all the support! Scotty
