Falken RT wheel is a traditional 5 spoke design with emphasis on light weight through innovations in casting technologies. Each spoke is designed with a hollow cavity that reduces weight while still retaining rigidity required for autocross and tracking. In addition, each spoke surface is CNC machined to highlight the spokes and set off with a gloss black finish, creating unparalleled detail to the design. What do you guys think of these instead of the gold bbs rims??
im a big fan of 5spokes but those accents make it too... i dunno... tron? How much? What size and how much do they weigh?
You need this size. 18x8.5 + 35 http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...ductSize.do?pc=50095&typ=Car/Minivan&tmn=RT-5
Froggy i copied and oasted the discription off the falken website think they are sposed to be orettt light
Yeah...it's a good look. If you decided you didn't like the accent on the spokes you could easily paint that portion of it.
What does it matter what other people think about your WHEELS? Get what you like not what other people will like.
In short, no. I'm getting the impression that you have been reading up fitment data on the GD chassis and not for your own car. The 09+ cars seem to be able to fit larger wheels with more aggressive offset than the 02-07. The WHEEL option Fuji linked above would fit fine. Also, why do you feel the need to start a thread just to gather people's opinions on a wheel? In my opinion, you should get a set of 14x12 wheels with a +0 offset.
Did a quick search and it looks like 22lb in a 18x8.5 and $200 a wheel. Does that sound right? For the money, I'd hold out on a lighter 5spoke or a wheel with better resale... and not so riceroni lol
FIRST OF ALL i just wanna say this rims might look cool but i installed them on the car and they look like horse crap! I returned them and purchased steelies that is all!
look at xxr or rotas there fairly cheap and look good. Also look at what your adding do weigh your current wheels and see if its worth the money to even get rims only reason I bought the rims I did was I got a great deal, they are fairly rare, and the rims are about the same weight 1/2lb heaver but 1" wider. By adding weight to your wheels your losing hp (adding to your rotating mass).
