new FB flat four??

    has anyone read about this yet?? its suppoesed to be the engine that is replacing the EJ now the new engine will be lowering the bore and increasing the stroke of the old EJ to make it more efficient. also it is supposed to go to chain driven cams.

    I was under the Forester at Minnetonka looking at the oil pan....and also poking around in the engine bay looking at all the new un-coated bolts. We where also looking at that oil filter that sits right up top.

    seems weird all around to me, i was just reading about it for the new imprezas i didnt know if was already in the foresters! they running that same engine in the XT?

    No turbocharged versions are out yet, and this year's 2012 wrx is going to be the same style as the 11, the non turbo version is going to be the new style car.
