New from Fargo

Hi my name is Sean. i have known about the site for awhile now im pretty much a new subie owner.. i drive a 02 sedona red wrx, as far as mods go the ones ive done since i purchased the car are.. vf39 turbo, 38mm tial external wastegate, sti pinks, walbero 255 fuel pump, 17 inch konig feathers wrapped with falken azenis rt 615's, perrin Master Cylinder STIFFI, hella super tones, defi guage package which includes boost, oil, and exhaust temp.., hallman in car boost control, data loger, cusco rear strut bar.. the car came with alot when i bought it, but i dont consider them my accomplishments..

Ide get the MBC off there ASAP. Unless you never get into partial throttle boost. WELCOME!!!!

 

yeah im not liking it to well myself, im spiking 22-23psi

 

yes, its not a DSM. get the mbc off and get out to some meets!

what would you recommend for one?

 

a grimmspeed boost soleniod and a tune!

 

already tuned and thanks for the advice ill look into it.

 

3-Port Electronic Boost Control Solenoid, guessing this is it, pretty cheap

going from an MBC to a 3 port ebcs, I would recomend a Tune.:biggrin:

What he said is very true!!! I have been very happy with my tune on my wrx from bullwinkle.

Yup, you'll need a retune after removing that MBC. You can also hook up that MBC and a 3-port BCS (like the Grimmspeed unit) in "parallel," which provides very good boost control.

Hey mang welcome to mnsuby. I'm jealous of those plates! I was rearranging the letters after I debadged my car a while back and I was ecstatic when I came up with urabus. Then I realized it's subaru backwards I was determined to make it my license plate. Guess not anymore lol

 

You might be able to still, his are ND plates. There is always hope! :biggrin:

im sure you are not hearing the bov its the same as mine. u are hearing the deafening open wastegate

 

There is kind of a funny story about those plates

 

i went through the lot there today and they have an impreza wagon(an 05 auto andone like your) there.

 

i was kinda thinking about putting the dump right behind the front passenger tire :biggrin:

I'd like to see an open dump tube go thru a little glasspack muffler so there's noise, but just not so damn much. lol
