a local gas station in my area just got some new gas and i'm very excited:biggrin:

98 octane clear premium (non ethanol) and i just got some for 3.12 a gal

this is great for me since i have been running a mix of race gas for the last few tankfulls and at 5.09 a gal that stuff gets spendy, and the mix i am running the 98 octane straight will be just right.

the shell station right at the entrance to B.I.R. just opened about a month ago, yellow handle pumps. that gas station was open last summer under a different company and they closed down this winter, that station had 110 so this new shell is using the old 110 tank for their 98.
i can't believe how cheap it is right now normal 92 in town is 2.95.

i am so happy:biggrin: i guess living right by the track pays off:biggrin:

If anyone knows any other Shell stations in the Twin Cities selling 98 octane, please post! I'm so jealous! ;)

using e-85 is NOT an option for me since you need more fuel to get the same effect and since i am running lean that would not be a good idea.

and i doubt other shell stations would have this gas since you need a separate tank for it and it a limited market for the stuff. but being at the entrance to a international track makes it worth it for them to have it.
