New guy from up north

Just bought a 2002 wrx for a dd/winter car so I figured i'd join the site. I live up on the iron range in Hibbing.. The car has a downpipe, cobb tune, apexi exhaust, aftermarket clutch of some kind, 17 inch rota rims, a tial bov and is lowered an inch and a half. Also the car has been painted a dark gray color (supposedly a mazda color) anyways I'm loving the car so far and i'm looking forward to learning more about it.

I would love to go to the rally that would be fun but I need a little more warning than a week haha. Keep in mind I just bought my wrx on Tuesday so this is a while new world for me. Another thing I should mention is that my summer toy is a 2001 mustang gt with the normal bolt ons, 4:10 gears, exhaust, programmer, 18 inch wheels and lowered 2 inches. I'll try to get some pics of both cars up this week

Yeah I hear ya! I live just north of the Iowa border and there is NO love for imports down here. If ya dont have a Camaro or a Mustang your not "cool". HHHAAAAA! My turbo lag gives your V8 a chance....hahahaha

It's silver with chrome 18 inch wheels and it's extremely loud.

Think I've seen you around, I had a 94 GT vert (white) and got a 92 LX with flames on the hood, drove that one most of last summer, but drive my WRX now, gots a Rally America sticker on windshield, if ya see me say hey!

 

Yep I just picked it up last week and I love it. Mine doesn't have to bad of lag either I dunno if it's cuz of the Cobb tune or what? Go look on facebook I have a pic of it on there

Welcome to the site! I have seen you around before. That's a sick car and a really sick color. Also, I have seen your Mustang parked in front of your house (I think). You have the Mustang that says "Redline Oil" on the bumper, correct? I have a 2000 Obsidian Black Legacy GT Wagon with an underbody light kit ( THANK YOU LEDGlow!!!!). I enjoy it. Actually no thats my friend Chads mustang, same car only his is an 04 and mine is a 01. His grandma lives right up the street from me though and his car is parked there a lot. My mustang doesn't get parked on the street thats my baby haha. You'll know if it's my mustang because his is quiet and mine is obnoxiously loud:biggrin:
