New from APS equal length header for your STi! APS has configured a header that dose not lose 30 ft. lbs. of torque to gain 10 hp above 6000 rpm in fact it gains 30 ft. Lbs. at 3000 rpm and gains an additional 30 hp at 6000 rpm! Finally a header that works with out having to sacrifice bottom end power for top end power!

    Note:

    Will only fit 04+ STi

That sounds wicked! I would think it works with the Forester XT, too since the FXT and the STI use the same engine. :D

True, and there's others even more expensive. I was looking at Borla headers which were almost half the price earlier.

Since I saw "APS" and "expensive" + headers I expected to see a price tag over 1300.00 since alot of the "good" headers are over the 1k mark.

Header quality judgement from a guy who doesn't know what spark plugs are in his car.

Ok, Readymix, you posted an article a bit ago and in it they made the comment that it was hard to do any better than the stock header and that most header designs don't take into account the internal length differences between the front and back cylinders. Is the APS taking the different internal distances into account when they claim equal length headers? Is there really gonna be an increase in Torque and HP since it would be hard to get any gains over the stock pipe? Enquiring minds want to know.

imo headers and intake manifolds need to be sized correctly for their application.
headers are rated for a specific flow in a specific rpm range... its all about where you want it to bee, down low torquyness, or up top where you can let the car streach it's leggs.

headers cant really pull off both jobs..... that is unless unless you happen to be driving something red, italian and costing >100k
