    What's up guys.

I've been around the car scene my whole life. I am a auto body tech in the twin cities. I used to be a metal fabricator at a custom hot rod shop here in MN.

This is my second suby that I have come to own. I had a 03 2.5 rs for a matter or a few months. I've always been interested in boosted 4 bangers. I had a very clean SRT4 for about 2.5 years it was a e85 can that I did all the work my self. Car was fun on the highway but spinning really gets old. Then I picked up a 01 audi a4 with a frankenturbo setup it was a fun car for the time I had it just wasn't quick enough. Looked into evo 8's couldn't find a clean enough one for a decent price so I test drove a 14 wrx sedan at the dealer and ordered my WRB WRX 5 dr in October and I received it first week of December and couldn't be happier.

    Mods
    Exterior.
Transparent candy paint on tail lights (overlay look)
    Blacked out the headlamp housings
    JDM black fender badges.
Debadged the gate other then the WRX
3m 15% window tint all around
    Rear wiper delete.

    Drivetrain
    Kart boy STS with bushings
    Cobb shift knob.

    Future mods
    18x9.5 rota g force with 265/35/18 nitto invo's
    Invidia race exhaust
    Perrin intake/turbo inlet
    ID 1000cc injectors
    Dw 65cc fuel pump
Grim speed up pipe with EWG.
    Cobb v3 access port
    AEM wide band
    Defi boost gauge.

All performance mods will be done at one time with a pro tune. Either Ron at RS or Shane and DB performance will do the tune until I order a dom 1.5 xtr for a fun DD

I'll get photos once it's finally warm out side.

    Alex

Welcome to the forum! You might want to rethink that rear wiper delete...that thing comes in handy, esp during Minnesota winters ;)

Its just house of color candy brandywine we had at the shop took some home and tinted the clear coat i was to use and preped the surface with a wet grey schotchbrit pad. Actually did some for a customers 13 black hatch about a month before my car came it. Iv always sprayed tails or anything for that matter out of a gun.

The final product. This spring i will wet sand and buff the tails. Seeing how i did this about ten mins after getting the car home. Also going to shave the anttena and paint the roof/top of spoilers black and shave the front license plate mount when work slows this summer image.jpg

Those tails look fantastic. Do you do this for others? PM me if you would be willing to do this for my 2012 DGM hatch, and what you might charge!!!

What? If you need rear wipers, you're driving too slow!

Haha yea i just got used to using my mirrors. If you have the rear defrost on during the rain it helps a lot.

Added a little red carbonfiber to my radio bezel for the time being. Hopefully ordering some alacantara soon to start "softening up" the interior.

Also in the future, fabricating strut tower bracing and a front splitter.

Wondering if anyone else would be interested in buying one after proto type is made and tested. Will be able to get in a large variety of colors.
