    Hi all,

Glad to be a part of this forum. Backstory.

I bought a '15 WRX Limited CVT last year not knowing how long my commute was going to be. While it was a great car, I just couldn't help but wonder what I was missing out on with the STi.

Well, today I changed that. I just picked up my '16 STi Base in DGM and I'm in love!

Hope to see you guys/gals around.

Very nice ride and congrats! Welcome to MnSubaru, get out and meet some people if you're the social type! Check the events section. There is a regular weekly meet in there.

Again, welcome, and enjoy that beautiful STi!!!

Also, share some of the noticeable differences. And what your opinions on each one are!(if you would) :)

Needs three things...snow tires, Homelink mirror, and get rid of all that crap on the trunk lid except the STI badge. Otherwise, looks nice.

All are in the works. Just bought brand new Blizzaks for my '15 WRX and have to sell them now...sigh. I have the homelink btw too.

As far as thoughts. This is my first standard car. I came into it driving one only a handful of times, and while there isn't a huge learning curve it's more of learning this cars engagement point, etc. The handling far exceeds the '15 WRX's in my opinion. This car just feels like its meant to drive.

As for the CVT, it was really good for what it was and what it did. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the CVT to anyone in the market. Overall, I was happy with it.

Welcome to the short bus. Please keep your hands away from the other members. And please don't feed them after midnight....they get a little....strange.
What part of town are you in so we can craftily creep on you and post about it in the spotted thread.

I live in Bloomington. I frequent the airport area quite a bit.

And as for my thoughts on the wing. On any car I couldn't agree with you more. But.......STi.
