I moved here back in December and finally made an account. If you've seen a blue WRX with NJ plates, thats me haha

I need some friends in this new town, so who better than car buddies! I'll probably try making it to the weekly Tuesday meets.

i moved from CT, and remember busting on Dirty Jersey plates when i'd see them back home, now i'm actually happy to see them here hold on to your plate as long as you can... i kept my CT plates for almost 2 years (even though i had MN ones in the trunk), but 3 tickets later my wife made me change them over.

i'm in south minneapolis

Fellow East Coaster! Are tickets in MN not transferrable to the Tri-State area?

 

no but an excuse about how very inconsistent MN speedlimits are across highways goes along way. in general i found both cops and court clerks being overtly aggressive of giving out tickets simply because i had out of state plates.
where in jersey were you, south/north?

I'm from central NJ, near East Brunswick and Rutgers. My folks and siblings are still there. There are a lot of subies out there and lots of events like BoxerFest and Wicked Big Meet.

 

haha I wish, I currently have an 02 grand prix, n the market for a 2016 wrx or sti. Just getting my finances in order.
