Whats up everyone just purchased my first subaru about a month ago and thought I'd join here. It's an 01 legacy gt limited, manual of course. 155K miles, one owner and the place I bought it from had maintained it since it went off of subaru's warranty. they had service records for everything! anyway heres a quick picture of it Plans include: UEL header full exhaust intake Mudflaps Short throw shifter and fix the wobble few other misc little things
Parts are starting to pile up Undercoating, 2.5rs wheels, snow tires, piping for a custom intake all waiting to go on. Rally armor basics on their way too
Nice! I have a 2000 105k in the same color. Yours looks a bit cleaner (I have some minor rust at the rear wheel wells). You should de-amber the headlights, it really cleans up the look of the car! Welcome to the forums. Let me know when you've done some of the performance mods, mine have all been aesthetic, I'd love to hear the difference. Have you already had the headgaskets done?
Headgaskets were done before I bought the car. Should have the short shifter and bushings in by the end of this weekend. Also the mudflaps on. Finished up the intake last week and started undercoating.
Short shifter, front and rear bushing, and new shifter joint are in so no more sloppy shifter also finished the undercoating, got my snow tires mounted on my new rs wheels, got the tranny fluid and rear diff fluid changed, and my rear mudflaps on. Changed my oil too... seems I have an oil leak now thought it was from the plug but appears to be running down the pan. I'll have to investigate more when I have more time. Feels good to finally have a bunch of stuff checked off.
