I got received my invidia up/down combo today. I have the new studs that come with the up-pipe.

How many people replace their nuts and bolts for the up-pipe/manifold and downpipe (my downpipe replaces the mid pipe w/ cat.) to rear exhaust pipe?

i have 60K plus on my car

i didnt. i actually used the stock studs out of the stock uppipe because my aftermarket studs were to long. matt did the uppipe. as for the downpipe, if the stock bolts arent rusty, just use them...then you will have a spare set for say...when you go ice racing and rip your exhaust.

shouldnt have to replace the nuts and bolts, they should work just fine, could always go to a hardware store and buy some stainless steal ones, but thats personal preference

yeah they always send bolts that are too long for the up-pipes when you buy them... mine and the 3-4 that I have doen had the same issues...

Use the new up-pipe ones and just cut the rear ones off a little, so the down pipe will fit with no hassle. Stick with the factory DP bolts cause they are stainless and won't completely rust away to nothing

I just reused everything except for the studs that came with my uppipe (Crucial Racing w/Wurth studs). FYI, I had to install the two rear studs upsidedown to allow for clearance around the downpipe.

Just make sure you use a good set of 6-point sockets, and you shouldn't mangle anything too terribly.
