Hey everyone! My name is Mitch, I just picked up a navy blue 99 legacy outback this weekend. It has 124, xxx miles and is a California car. Absolutely no rust. Just had timing belt, headgasket, thermastat, waterpump and knock sensor changed. Apparently one of the valves got washed out before but the shop said it was within spec so it has a tick. I am almost certain it is a 2.5. It runs really well, I just picked up a radio harness and single din radio bezel for my kenwood head unit. Also going to put my subwoofers in it this weekend. A little of my background. I am not new to auto forums, I am a dedicated member of sixthsphere.com which is a saturn enthusiasts site. My first car was a 99 jeep cherokee 4x4 auto, really loved it and was buying it from my aunt. Though she decided to sell it before I could come up with the money. Then I moved onto my 98 gold saturn sc2 manual. I bought it with 240,xxx miles on it I seized the original engine, bought a new one. Then I blew the diff pin through the trans. It then sat. I then got a purple 97 ranger with a 4 inch lift and 31" tires and had it for 6 days. I rolled it in a field next to my school. I then bought a completely guted from head to toe 95 saturn sc1 manual with a DOHC swap. It had kyb gr2 struts with eibach prokit springs. It had no ac or power steering. I blew the diff and it was rotted out. April 2013 I then put that suspension on the gold 98 and rebuilt a transmission with short 1st - 4th gears and a long 5th. I have been driving it until yesterday. This summer I picked one of the admin from sixthsphere.com's 2001 sc2 and bought a forged engine with toasted bearings for it. It has been sitting in a garage since. Now I have this subi. First question, where does everyone usually route their wires to their amps? If there is interest I can make a build thread for my 2 saturns. I have piles of go fast parts for them. Also just rebuilt an engine for my gf's 95 saturn sw2. Sorry for the novel of an intro thread. Thanks!
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! It needs moar low. But for now I can go through a couple snow piles.
Dont hate on the sticker, it was a joke but I decided it fit haha. Car ripped through the snow like a boss today. I've been deprived.
