I have a set of new 225/45R17 Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires for sale. These were on the car for about 100 miles before I put a different set of wheels on.

Looked at them last night. Looks like they were born in the 39th week of 03'. They still feel sticky to the touch.

Yes, I am in Brooklyn Center.

These things aside. Manufacture date is key as regardless of how they "feel" there is a safe to use by date.

Fwiw, i ran Potenza RE070's multiple times and really loved these tires(especially for the cheap price-because everyone pulled them off of their STi's to "upgrade")for the price that i would pay for them used.

    GLWS!

Thanks, yeah my issue was more with the ugly wheels. I like the BBS's but they were so far tucked into the wheel wells, they make the car look bad. You need the wheels and tires to at least come to the edge of the fenders, just enough to not have to roll the fenders, makes the cars look so much better... Just my 2cents :)

Generally speaking, tires exceeding 5 years old should not be used.
These are old enough to be going through puberty and idolizing justin bieber.

It's not just outward indications of dry rot, etc.. but temp cycles, etc can cause internal ply issues.
