NEW power steering pump problems

    So I was an idiot and did doughtnuts with my wrx and the ps pump crapped out on me. I ordered anew one from napa and filled her up with fluid and the pump whines like a sob!! Worse than my old one, I cranked it a few times lock to lock and it didn't get better at all.

    Tried flushing the fluid and put new wtuff in and still no go. I called napa and told them to get me a new ps pump cause thats what the subaru tech told me it might be. What am I doing wrong, if anything???

    Not to sound dumb but do subarus take special p/s fluid?

    make sure you put in atf, NOT ps fluid
