We picked up our new puppy this weekend. She is a 7 week old Weimaraner. We named her Mahle:biggrin: (Molly)On with the pics.
lol my first thought was "little nicky!" then I realized there were not 1 but 3 feet in that pic,well played sir. also, the puppy looks great and a damn nice name too.
Man I miss having a dog... Nobody in my family owns one anymore(too much of a hassle...), and I'm not in a position to own one yet being in college and all. It sucks because I grew up with dogs, grandparents had dogs, parents had dogs, neighbors have dogs, etc...now nobody. Enjoy your puppy. She's going to get big fast. Give her lots of exercise too or she'll start tearing up your furniture, lol.

So true. She has been really good so far. No accidents in the house YET, just alot of crying at night. We have a dog walker coming over during the weekdays to let her out while were at work. Should be interesting
How much does that run you? We really want to get a dog, but with both of us working full time (and me in grad school) it seems next to impossible to give a puppy the amount of attention it would need. She thinks we should get a smaller dog that needs less excersize, but hunting dogs FTMFW goddamnit!

That is a very cute puppy. Great hunting dog. My dad had one that used to go down to the lake by itself and come back with a duck. Who needs a gun?
$30 a week/5...so either this lady walks multiple dogs at a time, is old and just likes dogs, or is a complete business idiot. $6.00 an hour, deduct her taxes (if she pays them), then subtract gas for drive time and the wear and tear on the vehicle. Yikes. She could work at Mcdonalds for more. I guess working with dogs is a hell of a lot nicer.
This is exactly what we were thinking. I guess she sounds like an older lady from the south on the phone :hsugh: We meet her tonight.
When we started out with our pup we said that we wouldn't let him sleep on the bed...after 3 weeks of whinning in the crate we gave in. Murray has been on the bed ever since. That dog is super cute!
Yeah she wont be in bed with us. She is getting better, she only cry's for about 5 minutes now when we crate her.
the corgi is the only one we allow to sleep with us....because she behaves and doesnt take up any space.
