Hey all, I just bought my dream car, Putz's car after tracking it down through dealerships. It is an 06 grey wrx with a grey subaru decal on the side with grey oz rims. It is stock and I am looking to upgrade it this summer. I first want to upgrade the exhaust, downpipe, and rear sway bars and would like upgrade the engine after that, eventually upgrading the turbo. My friend Jeremy Rust is pointin me in the right direction but I would love input from anyone out there. Thanks, -Ben
Congrats! Sounds like you'll be bringing it back from the dead, as those mods are about what Putz had on the car before parting it out and selling it . Depending on size of turbo, no need to upgrade the engine until you get pretty crazy (or break something). The stock 2.5L on a good tune can handle up around 350-400 WHP reliably. You'll likely be wanting to look at drive-train parts before upgrading the engine.
Congrats on the car, that is a nice one. I was keeping my eye on that, but couldn't make the move. Take it a step at a time. You might be surprised what a TBE + tune would give you. You should have a goal in mind before you get into the engine or the turbo. Obvious a lot around here have done that, but make sure that meets your goal.

Its fine you can't expect much from dealerships ha thanks so much for the parts I appreciate it. I think the car has made my dad a Subaru fan because he now says he likes it and before he didn't want me to buy a WRX. I'll be putting the parts on once summer hits and I will put up some pictures
