Hello all, First off my name is Tyler (obviously) I'm 22 years old and from a small town south of Mankato. I have owned 4 evos, 1 evo 8, 1 evo 9, and 2 evo Xs. I recently had to sell my Evo X SE due to some personal stuff going on. Looking for something cheaper yet fun to be had in I was down to a 05 STI and 08 civic si. I somehow got a better rate from my bank on the sti so in times of saving money i decided to get the STI. And the seller turned out to be a super cool dude i got a long with very well. With that said, i picked up a 05 sti yesterday. It has 117k on the clock, is silver, has some minor dings, but i have already started cleaning it up tremendously. Current known mods are Misumoto silicone hose kit Aem short ram intake External waste gate O2 dump Inivida downpipe Catless cat back exhaust I think it has a upgraded turbo as there is no markings on it, its also running spring wga pressure (14psi) although since im leary i havent been romping on it till i get tuned or a wideband at least since db is booked till mid next month. The car needs strut mounts if anyone has any for sale or knows a good spot to get some let me know! I hope to learn more from this site and meet some new people. I really like this car and think i will really enjoy it, although i do have a very soft spot for evos still, lol.

Thanks guys! Im a operator at a Biorefinery. My car shans all began when I was 16 i worked full time 2nd shift after school got my first auto loan and bought a 05 srt 4 salvaged and with reconnecting with my father who owns a body shop he fixed it, sold that when i turned 19 used all that profit for a downpayment on a evo 9. Had that for a year (wish i woulda never sold it), traded it in for a 2014 evo x gsr, psycho now x made me sell that, she left so i bought a evo 8 needing TLC for cheap, sold that for a 2010 evo x se, and recently sold that to get into a cheaper payment. And here i am. Lol long story.
