New Subie added to MN

    Hey everyone, I just wanted to say hi!
    I just purchased a 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS from someone in Ohio! I'm excited to be a part of this community and to be a new proud Subaru owner!
    Frankly I can't wait for some snow :D

    Thanks! I just checked out the Grimmspeed facebook page about that event, looks like a ton of fun! I'll be there for sure
    I was going to replace my struts and lower it a little this weekend, but it looks like it will have to wait

    Wow that does look clean. I really love that gen car. I would really think about getting one if I had the ability to own multiple cars. Great find, enjoy it. (and wash it this winter to keep it nice)

    The drive to and from Ohio was totally worth it, the first thing I need to take care of is my rust...but at least there isn't that much

    Also, if anyone can recommend a body shop that does good work on rust, let me know

    Pm me if/when you decide you want the rust taken care of. I only take side work on Tuesday nights and every other weekend otherwise I'd be happy to book you an appt through my shop. Might as well get the scrape on the right of your bumper taken care of at the same time :).

    I'd vouch for Megan to get your rust/paint done as I got mine done from her and the work that was done on was spot on: PERFECT! +1 on this one!

    Thanks man! Glad to hear you're happy with it. I moved to a better shop in Hopkins but I still have the clip for your right side. If you're going to be at the DCTC track night I can throw it in for ya.
