New T-Shirt design for 2007 Time to Vote (Back of Shirt)

Ok, well here are the designs for the new 2007 shirts. I pulled some designs that people had ideas for the hoodies. Figure more options. There are two poles. This one for the back of the shirt and another for the front of the shirt. Here is the pole for the front of the shirt:

Colors will be voted and decided after the final design is decided. The line art for the Three Generation's shirt is being worked on. The pic I have below is with my crappy skills. If it is the winner we will have vector line art of it probably by this weekend.

ALSO PLEASE COMMENT HERE IN THIS THREAD ABOUT T-SHIRT AND GRAPHICS COLOR IDEAS. That way I know what people think is a good idea. I will compile those down and we will have a very short pole at the end after these two close.

If you mean Impreza well guess what everyone had a month and a half to submit designs. More than enough time and very few people stepped up. These are the designs that were in the thread. If people wanted other designs they should have submitted them.

I'd vote for it if it had the '04-'05 on there as well.

'All we'll drive' cracks me up every time, so I'm going for that one.

The three gen shirt idea did not work with four cars on it.....plus I did not want anyone want to say I was playing favortism to my own car

In the link mlgez posted on post 6 there is one with the 04 05 car on it like the second option on this page and they look good.

the secon, I tried to quote your last most mlgez (#9) but when I did it wen to a page that said this. "Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" just thought I would let you know.

 

Evolution was not my design I was talking about my design.

Why do you guys keep on insisting that every shirt/hoodie/whatever you make has to have crap on BOTH sides of it?!?

I don't have to have an impreza and a turbo (why I don't have any interest in the hoody design) to be part of a Subaru club, do I? To be honest....it makes me feel a bit left out....

I just think we should use something that represents subaru as a whole. things like "All we'll drive", and "Our world is flat" etc. and the subaru emblem.


mlgez....I saw the thread, and you'll notice I submitted a couple designs

the turbo was put in the design as a request, I don't have a turbo either.
(but I made the design anyway.)

 

plus I don't rally, does that mean I souldn't like the current design, no.
just my .02.

Yep, the MN state is Chux's. He had a bunch of the same with different logos in them. That is why I said or some variation on the design. The first post was already huge so I did not put each one in it. Plus I just suck at laying out photos in threads. I usually just do them as attachements so getting text in the middle of the pics does not happen.

 

love the hoody design (back). Evolution is a great idea, just needs a little work.

 

When I came up with the evolution idea I knew it needed work, I am not that good with any of those programs. Thats why if any one would like to clean it up fell free to do so. I can send files to whom ever wants it.

 

This is a rough draft of one of the cars. It is green so that it would show on the photo. Thanks Joel for all your work so far on this. This is not done. It is a work in progress and it is only one of the three cars to be done.

Like I said my skills suck. Mine was just a rough draft of the idea I had. Joel is doing a great job on the real artwork for my idea.

 

whoever did it...its a step in the right direction. the tshirt needs to look professional, not like it was made from a local club...then more members will want to buy it.

i'm going to start searching google images for tons of subaru images and see if i can come up with a text logo that actually looks nice and compliments this vector image of the gc.

now mlgez/joel, if you want to get really crazy go find a new photoshop of the 08 wrx that looks wicked(wide fender flares etc) and vector that out.

 

also, on the vector, put an mnsubaru.com banner across the windshield and take out the passenger side A and B pillar lines

it comes down to what the majority of people want. as much as I would like to see a shirt that represents the things that drive my passion for subarus....I certainly don't want to see a design used that people don't like, just because I wanted something different.

if the majority of the club wants a shirt with an impreza on it.....that's fine....I just won't buy one. no hard feelings.

What if we changed the three generations design to not have three generations of the impreza, but three generations of popular subarus?

80's 90's and 00's?

80's = GL wagon / brat ?
90's = Turbo Legacy ?
00's = WRX (either gc8 or bugeye) ?

 

Or do more than three gens maybe to include more of what everyone drives.

 

fwiw, its going to be a clusterfrick if you do 3 different designs at once.

Kinda late at this point. We are already way behind schedule on this as it is. Maybe next time people will put up some more designs. I am sorry if anyone feels left out but I did try to make this as fair as possible and did give ample time to all. I do not want to start changing designs now. Everyone had a chance to voice ideas on the designs submitted. Now everyone can vote for what they want. Again I am sorry to anyone that does not like the design. What ever design wins wins.

I hope I don't miss the orders again.... I don't always get a chance to log on.

I will buy whatever shirt as long as its black,white,grey/gray. I would prefer to stay away from flashy colors.
