Well i guess i can start off by saying my name is David, i drove a 2003 WRB Bugeye. Now the key word was "drove" unfortunitly on Feb. 9th i was T-boned passanger side by a drunk driver. (no i do not have pics) The accident killed my baby (the car) 19k in damage. fortunitly bc of Subarus great crash ratings i merely walked away stunned. The accident sucked, i was going 45mph 5mph slower than posted speed and he was going 55, 20 over. but enough of that. im moving to MN on 05/22/2010. once im there and find a decent paying job i will be buying another Subaru...if i can find a low mileage bugeye ill take that but if not im more than likely going to be buying a 2007 STi is Pearl White. Oh and i loved to play in the mud, pics will verify this Now to what my car had and looked liked: Suspension: -JDM STi Struts -GF210 Springs Engine/Exhaust: -Invidia V2 -Blitz Nur Spec R -Injen Cold Air Intake -Protuned at 250WHP and 255WTQ at 21psi on stock turbo(road tune) And Added accessories: -Aftermarket STi wing (lighter and more ridged, did not flop in the wind) -2 Hella 500s mounted on the bumper -Ikea Homemade mudflaps -Enkei somekind of Rims haha Now for the pics of what my baby used to look like: Not me kissing it lol Hope you guys enjoy the thread, and thanks for having me
hello :wavey: nice car, too bad about it being destroyed, but the only thing that matters is that you weren't hurt. What type of work are you looking for once you get here?
Thanks for the warm welcome. yea it was a nice car but as far as work goes it doesnt really matter. im a man of many talents. but i do prefer work outside. maybe i start my Car Detailing business like i wanted to out here
thanks, i was just looking. not really looking to buy quite yet but im sure there will be some nice looking cars to find and i dont think I've seen the one at St. Cloud
Something different, I've lived on the west coast my whole life and i wanted something a little more outdoorsy (spelling) Minnesota seemed to have the best fit
Get ready for -50F I will tell you this. Full synthetic oil and a good battery and you should be set come winter. Shouldn't have to plug it in at all.
the weather isnt going to bug me, my second home was at 9500 ft above sea level so cold snow and all that jazz doesnt bother me
i know what it like to get t-boned and loose a car (happened to me to) but cars can be replaced, im in a subaru now!! welcome to MNSubaru...post some pictures when you get a car
i will def post pics when i get my subi again. I finally moved to MN and let me tell you its not much different from the west coast, other than the weather (imo it sucks balls here) but its pretty much the same haha
Bummer to hear you were hit, glad you are okay. God D*amn drunk drivers, you'll be happy to know that MN Police are Nazis about that kinda stuff.
