Sup community, I'm expecting a 15 WRX being shipped to me tonight or tomorrow morning. My first manual car and super excited. Feel free to throw some noob tips at me, as well as some cool events. Hope to meet some of you guys/gals soon!

Congrats on the new ride. Isnt waiting torture? Lol. I had to wait 3 days for my STi and it felt like 2 years.

waiting SUCKS! the guy says he's here at 11:30 to 12am, but I'm going to wait until the morning so I can inspect the car before delivery is final.

A couple questions about Heuberger for you. I just purchased my 2015 WRX from there and am waiting for delivery within the next couple of weeks. Did they do any detailing on the car before sending it to you? I hear so many people declining the detail because of them leaving swirls in your paint due to incorrect detailing procedures. Am I just worrying too much? Also, did it come in earlier than your estimated week of arrival? Was the financing part of it fast, and did you get your car quickly after it arrived at the dealership? Thanks for taking the time to answer this stuff.

Get your car detailed at Morries Minnetonka. Scott Puttnams son detailed mine and did a great job.

Any idea how much they charge for a walk-in detailing?

Stay away from any gas station wash (unless touch-free) and more importantly the dealer (including Morries) car wash. My 2011 had swirl marks from the dealer on day one since they washed and detailed it for delivery. I strictly specified that my 15 STI not to be touched by their car wash and to date since I take it to my local touch free BP wash I have zero swirl marks. It sucks not to be able to take advantage of free washes for life but stay away from the SLAP & SCRATCH!!!
