I joined a few months ago but never really had a reason to post until now. I bought a 92 subaru legacy turbo sedan, now i have a couple questions. I would like to find some more info as far as interchange-abilty and a good place to find parts online. i looked through some of those posted sites and couldnt find much. i know there isnt a whole lot out there for these cars, and most tuning sites focus mainly on 2.5 rs/ imprezas and impreza wrx models. thanks in advance and im looking forward to doing some rallying next season.
Yea, there isn't much you can do with these. Although, the ej22t has a very strong bottom end. Due to it having a fully closed deck block. The main reason of limitation on the ej22t is due to lack of tuning ability. Modification's are pretty much limited to exhaust and intercooler's. On a positive note, most wrx down pipes will fit. So a full turbo back exhaust isn't to hard to acomplish.
I definitley noticed that some of the exhaust stuff might swap over i guess im really looking to install an intercooler
I would suggest a front mount intercooler. You can instal a top mount, but the only style that really fit are the 06-07 wrx style. The smaller one, the older style will not clear the firewall with out pounding it in a little bit.
