    Hey ALL!

My name is Aren and I am bran new to this Subaru game!! :)

I blame my friend Martin (Dynapar) for starting to get me really interested in Subarus. He stopped over at my house the other day to show me his car and it really got me hooked in the brand.

Earlier this summer I purchased a 2003 BMW M3 (Lightweight Package). I absolutely love the car but its not going to be driven in the winter.

Recently I have been looking for a car that is completely opposite of my M3, something that I can really tinker with since I don't want to do anything too crazy with my M3 yet :) . I want something that I can drive all year round and that could rip down any road under any condition at any time of year (That's when Dynapar came into the picture). I talked with him and he has inspired me to look for a Subaru Impreza wagon that I can eventually do a swap into (If you know of a good one shoot it my way :) ).

Subarus are pretty foreign to me so I have been doing my reading on these cars to find out exactly what engine is what, and what model year came with what engine. So if you have any insight to help I would really appreciate it!

This is what my idea/plan for my future purchase: :)
--1997-2001 Subaru Impreza Wagon around $3,000-$5,000.
    --WRX or STI motor
    --EJ22t block (if it works?)
    --And all the extra goodies!

Here are some pics of my M3.....

Found It in a AUDI lot...

Welcome. Martin will likely get you in and out of more subaru trouble than you thought you could get into. He's had his hands on more the a few projects/jobs over the years.

Welcome. I own a BMW for a summer fun car as well. However, mine is a little different. (1974 BMW 2002, primer white with carborated engine). Good luck with the Subaru hunt!
