Welcome V! Looking for a plug and play Turbo to replace the VF48? Just want to go bigger or what?

You could possibly just get the VF tuned for more boost if you haven't already. What kind of mods do you have so far, or are you stock?

I have all the minor upgrades for a bigger turbo.
from what i already know it has:
    Hybrid boost controllers
Grim speed Up pipe With EWG
    1000cc Injectors
    crawford catch can
    Rallispec's shortblock

im looking for just about 380 but 450 horse with E-85 max, it currently pushes 310 to the wheels. tuned.

Yea I figured. Thinking about a 20GXT Blouch Turbo, not too pricey but seems fair enough to me. Then NF will be seeing me soon, maybe tune for E-85. I don't know yet though. kinda iffy about that E-85. kinda hard to find.

Not really though. There's plenty of stations with e85. There's also apps that tell you where e85 stations are

Get out of here. There are too many Aspen White 08's popping up around here.

Haha totally kidding! Yes, this is @arsenal741 's old car, and I am running a very similar setup to his (same block, injectors, etc). I just picked up a 20G XTR (the ball bearing version of the 20G XT) and will be installing in my car very soon (along with aftermarket fuel rails and FPR).

E85 is actually pretty easy to find in the twin cities and midwest. Not sure where you drive, but you can easily find stations here (this is a government site and one of the most up to date sites out there. If you're planning a long trip, I'd call the station ahead of time to confirm they still have E85): http://www.afdc.energy.gov/locator/stations/results?utf8=✓&location=&filtered=true&fuel=E85&owner=all&payment=all&ev_levels[]=1&ev_levels[]=2&ev_levels[]=dc_fast&radius_miles=5

Before you go dumping money into a larger turbo and supporting mods, I would highly recommend getting used to the car in the current state. Then, try E85...that is a decent HP increase and a big TQ increase. That might be enough power for you. But that is just my $0.02.

Anyway welcome to the forum and be sure to check out the events section for upcoming events!

Haha. I figured I go just 91oct Just so I can get the feels. And I never really kept an eye out for e85.
It is my first turbo car. And the sti's are like godzillas to me. Although I know they will never compare to the GTR's.
Sounds like good and fair advice TMF. Will keep that in mind.

Most holiday gas stations have e85, some super Americas and some smaller stores too

    Hi Guys
Just reading your threads and trying to make sense of what you are saying as my knowledge is zero , but are you saying E 85 is better than 91 Premium fuel? I have a 2011 Subaru wrx. If I am completely wrong in understanding , forgive me..
