Hi all. Just found out about the board on NASIOC and I thought I would stop by and introduce myself and hopefully find some Subie buddies in my area. I just moved up to the Vergas/ DL area from Atlanta, Georgia and work in Fargo and commute everyday. Haven't seen many WRX's at all since I have been here, I think I have the tally up to two now. Hopefully sometime soon you guys will have a meet or something I can go to, or maybe even one of you lives close!:D

Hey welcome to the board. I have no clue if anyone on here lives up by you. I think mostly everyone is in the cities but I could be wrong. I actually know where Vergas is and that's a haul out of town. Regardless, maybe see you around at a meet or something..later!

Thanks for the welcome. You are telling me it's a haul into town. I drove up here from Atlanta and when I got to the cities I thought I was close......ummmmm not even. It took me around two more hours till I finally got here.

I don't have any pics of it yet, just bought it last week, but it is a 2005, obsidian black pearl wagon. I just ordered a HKS downpipe for it last week as well which should be here soon. I had a 2003 black sedan that I sold previous to owning the 2005. I had the 03' modded pretty well, HKS downpipe, custom uppipe, HKS carbon/TI catback, Possumlink ECU, VF 22 turbo, Supra fuel pump and a couple other minor things. I sold the 03' back in October right before I moved, I didn't know if I was gonna be able to afford the payments and yada yada. Well anyway, I come to find out I am making more than enough cash, so I bought another one. Kinda pissed I didn't keep the 03' though. As far as the snow, I like the snow, hate the -30 degree weather with the even nastier wind chills. So how often do you guys meet up around here?

Hey, I went to German Camp in Vergas a couple years ago, neat little town, we have a cabin in Alexandria that we are at quite frequently over the summer, but that's still a bit of a drive from vergas.

2.5rs: 2 hours from the TC to Vergas IS driving like a bat out of hell. My parents (I haven't driven there alone yet }:)) have NEVER made it to Alec in less than 2 hours, and my dad makes pretty good time, especially when he's driving the 300ZX

Welcome, and it looks like there'll be a garage day on the 30th of this month, watch the events forum for more info

If you're in Fargo... Steve-O's out in your neck of the wood. He's up there for college... msg. him so you two can hang out. I know there's another member in that area that post here once in awhile.

    Welcome to the board!

The drive wasn't too bad on the way up here, I was crusin' at an average of about 90 to 100 the whole way. Took me 18 hrs and some odd minutes total, not too bad I think.

Southerners and snow don't mix.....when they got an inch down there a while back the whole state shut down. They raided the grocery stores and bought generators and all kinds of stuff, it's hilarious.

And you said Steve-O is up in Fargo? I'll message him and see if I can get in touch with him,
