Hello! Couple from Minneapolis. Love Subaru. Have had 4 total between the both of us. Just added a 2008 Legacy GT LTD with all the bells and whistles for the lady to have fun with. Traded in the '08 Impreza for it. Plans to do some modifications and what nots in the near future..

Welcome to the site. In the United States, "grille" is used to differentiate the automotive part from the cooking device, called a "grill". I had no idea until someone here told me. There are a bunch of couples with Subarus here including myself and my life partner.

I've been looking at a charcoal/grey color inserts. The red part can come out and be painted...I'm up for anything...saw a few with Bronze/gold...I don't know about that. It's either paint or wait until I am making big $$ to get some new ones..Looking for the picture of the 05 Legacy with them on.
Nope, I don't think chrome looks good on any legacy or wrx. The red inserts should be taking out if anything. But hey its your ride, as long as you like it, drive it.
Looking for the link about air intake... I know that CAI is not the way to go but I was reading about just replacing the air filter (K&N) or something like that... and removing the something or other that reduces the BOV noise or turbo spooling noice. we are looking for more of that sound can some one please post the link in a reply and maybe a how to... PS will this void the warranty? Thanks much

If you are going to do the K&N filter I would suggest picking it up on Amazon to save some money. I don't see why it would, but I am not a dealership so what I think is pointless. I would just shoot the dealership an email about it. That way you have it for your records when they respond and if there is ever an issue with any warranty work. There are some great DIYs on painting wheels on here. You can rattle can them for cheap and it holds up much better than you would think. If you have any questions about it feel free to PM me. As for getting more spooling noise from your turbo, there's an intake silencer you can take out, and it won't harm the car at all. At least this is true for the WRX's. I'd do some searches for "intake silencer delete" for LGT's. I don't think it will void your warranty at all. It was nice meeting you guys at the Tuesday meet. Hope to see you guys there again, hopefully with more sun. Bring the scooter out too, and we can do hot laps around the parking lot with yours and Tonie's Spree-tard.
We actually have 2 scotterS... Maybe I'll throw them in the back of the wagon and we can all do some laps. Three wide in the corners watch out.
