Welcome! Ive been trying to get a couple guys in the Blaine area together for a mini meet on Fridays but so far no dice. Hit me up if you want to/ can meet up Fridays. There is a thread about it as well if you want to check it out.
I cant speak for other peoples schedules but I am sure you would probably have more success with a friday meet if it was a bit more "centralized" than in blaine. Not trying to rain on your parade. Just wanted to put it out there.
Im saying the Blaine area. Ill meet up anywhere around the area not just in Blaine. I just dont want to drive 45 min and just stay somewhere like a hr and have to drive home, that wouldnt make much sense to me. Like Ive put in another thread, Id meet up anywhere in Blaine/Coon Rapids/Anoka/Andover/Champlin/Osseo/St Francis, Ill even go out to Ramsey or places a half hr away if its for a longer time. And what do you mean by centralized? I said a location a few times, and a easy one to find at that. I know ppl wont be able to make it every week but if we could get just a few ppl that would be cool. I know youre not trying to rain on my parade its just that if I could get like 2-3 ppl to come and hang out for a while that would be cool with me. Im not asking everyone to just drop what theyre doing and come from all over the state just a few members from the area to hang out and talk and do other stuff if they dont have anything going on. If they do then thats fine I understand and we can shoot for the next week or something.

Im willing to meet up just let me know the day and stuff. I work till 9 Tues-Thurs but have Friday and Saturday off and get off at 5 Sunday and around 4 on Monday depending on how busy we are. Let me know cause Id meet up with you or anyone from the forum for that matter
Ill drive 45 min to a place its just I dont want to be there for a short time then have to leave right away. Ill go somewhere and stay for a while but if its shorter than the drive to get there, it seems to kind of a waste of gas to me. I drive a half hr to and from work every day plus all the other activities that I have going on so Im going through a tank of gas a week. Yea I dont drive like a little old lady but its hard not to drive these cars hard once in a while
So anywhere north of the cities ? More centralized meaning something closer to the cities that everyone can get to without being stuck driving the longer distance compared to others. I understand some live further out, but something to what derp said.... "Car enthusiast like to drive, but not drive too far." IMO this is why I think Boom Island is successful most nights. Something like that would be a good idea. Hell, on the nights where I am free I would attend.
Yea basically somewhere north of the cities so that the ppl that are a half hr or more from the cities and cant make it to boom island or stouts or any of the other places theyve gone have a place to meet up and chat. Im not talking a huge group of ppl either, it can be 2-3 hitting up like brunswick or a movie or something like that. I know they have the ricekiller meet deal but thats mostly younger kids driving either their car or their parents car to show off. I know a lot of the ppl there might have their own car there but its just not the same imo. Im just trying to get the ppl in the area to come if they can and if the guys with a longer drive cant make it or dont want to or something like that they dont have to. Its open to anybody its just Im trying to get a feel of the cars in the area so we can help each other out with car stuff or other stuff too
Yea Ive noticed they are. Like I said its like kids taking their parents nice cars to show off instead of their own cars
