Jordan question for ya and anyone else... I was eyeing one of those power sprayer a few months back at Home Depot... there's a 1750psi and a 1650psi that you (Jordan) have... there's a $30 difference between the two... do you think it's worth getting the 1750psi for that $30... any ones opinion?

I think the price for the 1750psi was going for $179 and $149 for the 1650psi.

How much did you get yours for and where did you buy it from? I know it'll be a great tool, not just for washing my car but my drive way, garage floor and my lawn mower etc...

    Vic,

I chose to save the $30 figuring that 1650 PSI was enough. I cleaned paint off my driveway with it, so it's enough for me. That's $30 more I can spend modding the car. :-D

I bought it from home depot for $149.

That is a cool power wash, I bought mine the day after Thanksgiving at Harbor Freight tools. 1800psi @ $78.00.

If anyone is intersted, they usually have some pretty good deals. Including a aluminum Racing floor jack that is superlight.

Wow, 1800psi for $78... now that's a bargain... how does that thing hold up for what you paid for?

You'll have to take me there one of these days.

holds up great, I washed my roof with it, house and garage. Power cleaned the basement shower. To give you an idea just how powerful these things are, I had washed my basment walls and floors and was not wearing safety glass, cuz I could not see what I was doing with all the water splashing back at me, was a big mistake. The water pressure was soo strong that it ripped out a nice piece of cement and bunked me right on the head. Got my glass really quick after that.

I have heard of Companies using high pressure water to cut metal. Believe it.

So err... at 1800psi... would my cheap Subie paint hold up? I'm afraid it'll rip right through'em...

You can adjust the spray patten to wide or sharp, on mine you can add a turbo brush for car washing. The 1800 psi is great for stripping paint when your remodeling stuff.

The model at home depot came with a turbo brush.. another nice feature is the soap tank.. You can move the nozel position and get soap/water mix out for soaking the car in soap for a bit. :)

1650 PSI is plenty for washing cars.. if you want to cut metal, better get those gas powered ones :-D
