Went to see this with my wife in 3D, wow. If you never seen a movie in 3D this is the one to watch. The best Transformers movie of the series. Anyone else seen it yet?
The visual stimulus from it made my eyes hurt. Just sooo much crap going on all at once. It was definitely better overall compared to the last one, but some characters weren't needed (like that Sector 7 guy that's been in all three. He's extremely annoying now, and his assistant, who was played by the Firefly pilot). Seeing Chicago get ripped apart was pretty cool.
Was it any worse than the first two? I remember hating them in the theater bc I got so disoriented (didn't matter how far away I sat) but it wasn't as bad at home. As much as I think this new franchise went the wrong direction compared to the animated movie from my childhood, I'm still debating whether or not to see it in the theater. edit: Alan Tudyk (alpha from dollhouse/pilot from firefly/Steve the pirate) is in it? Now my inner nerd really wants to see it!
Wasn't as good as I thought it would of been. Funniest scene was when Prime was flying through the building trying to help the guys in Chicago and then ended up in the damn crane wires.
It was visually very fun. And the hot Victoria Secret model is not too bad of an actor, way better then trailer trash Megan Fox. And way hotter too. Interesting thing is that there is a scene in the move that was taken completely from the move Island. When a cadillac gets hit with a piece of metal or something like that, on a highway, that same scene is in the Transformers 3. But the cat gets crushed by a robot.
