I finally spray canned the front end to see how my car would look white. Looks very nice except for the hood scoop and the sideskirt that flew off during some tuning.
Sometime in spring hopefully. Just need to get a full body repaint, but I'm trying to hold off until I get all the exterior pieces that I want. Like a ver6 spoiler, ver6 lip, fog light covers, and the JDM rear bumper with the spats.
Looks good. You sure you want to change the color? White is nice, and kinda rare from what I hear. Plus it triples the cost of a paintjob, if not more. Unless you are doing it yourself. Edit. Nevermind. I should check my reading comprehension.
Should have been more clear, Looking for white again just one that stands out more than the aspen white now which looks kinda creamy.
I see. That is fairly "loud" white. You going to jam it or let it rock? There are ways of taping a soft line.
The frontal shot makes the car looks like an ANGRY Terminator! Good to see it moving OUT of the garage for once. Been sitting on jackstands forever!! Paint it the '07 white on the STi. Nice and creamy pearly.

No problem. I stumbled upon the pictures over on RS25.com (forgot whose car it is) a while ago, and they completely sold me on Championship White. If you do paint it that color you MUST post pictures, alot of them.
that champ white looks like it has a bit of blue pearl mixed into it, the paint doesn't look anything like that on regular type-r's.

Mods are JDM Ver6 Sti engine swap, JDM Ver7 6-speed non-dccd, 5X114 conversion. And to answer STiv5's question, yes I'd like to pickup the original grill, but they are hard to come buy and a bit pricey. If I could find one then I'd pick it up along with the pink i emblem. Heres a front shot of what it's gonna look like.
Glad I am not the only person thinking that. However; just from those pics, its is my favorite 2.5rs I have seen.
I wouldnt know, I have never seen a type R. I do really like the blue pearl, it is the selling point for me. I will find out if there is blue pearl in the stock color. EDIT: I found out. The color (nh-0) has no blue pearl in it, however the blue sheen comes from blue paint which is added to the mix (there is also yellow and black). Doesnt matter if it is a honda color, since it has a Ver. 6 engine in it. It would be cool if it was a honda/SRT-4/ect... as long as it had a version 6 EJ20 in it.

Looks great other then the scoop, that scoop only belongs on peanut eye style, it doesnt flow with the GC at all.
I originally thought it was gonna come with the same style hood scoop as the stock hood. I got from josh at import image, so if anyone has one that wants to trade I'd be all for it.
Yeah, I used to have the high Sti hood scoop but I decide to sell it and keep the stock GC one instead. Your car looks good. Same as you, I can't wait for spring so I can keep my car clean from dirt and salt. I am going for the Prodrive P1 look and power.
Nice progress. If you're going white check out Gran-prix white as well. iirc it's a little bit more of a pure white. Crappy picture but.....
My first impression of this car from over the weekend's test drive at DCTC reveals this car has some real potential. Great setup, power deliever is very useful, brake pads could use an upgrade, wheel fenders rolled, shifter bushings, an perhaps a little more boost when she's ready. But over all very well balanced, out testing was cut short due the rear tires rubbing against the fenders. The car looks really nice in person, all thats left is the driver to make her look nice while dancing. Thanks again for allowing me the opportunity test drive your car.
