Well I installed some D2 coilovers, I honestly have to say that they ride way better than I thought they would. I even have them as stiff as they go right now due to tire rubbing issues and they still ride very nice. :) I installed some XXR 522 wheels for some short term wheels. 18x9.5 +38 offset with Kumho Ecsta XS race tires 265/35/18. Well should have went with a smaller tires because they rub front and back. Lol But I think I got it taken care of. Rolled the rear fenders and had to bend the tabs up on the front fenders that hold the liner in. I'm very happy with the coilovers for only being $990. They did what I was looking for, stiffened the ride, lowered it, and gave me adjustable camber in the front.

I originally had Taras do a very slight roll, but these wheels still rubbed so I used a heat gun and a very very special Aluminum baseball bat w
To get between the tire and the fender and very slowly worked my way around the fender adding heat to almost get a flat roll. I also did not crack the paint. I think using a bat and heat gun and working it very slowly works very well. It also do t squeeze all the seam sealer out. Then I just added some Por 15 to the inner lip to prevent rust.

You can do it very easily with a aluminum softball bat and heat gun. Just keep the paint warm and work from the back to the front a little at a time. But Taras is a member on here, I don't remember his screen name though.

That is the way I want mine to look. The wheel gap is perfect for me!
How are you protecting them? Do you have the coilovers wrapped?
    Pics of your install? Alignment?

The install was fairly simple, the hardest part was getting the right height. Took many times taking the wheels off and adjusting :) I'm not protecting them with anything at the moment. I was told to just put WD40 on the struts in the winter and they won't rust or seize. I'm not to worried about it. Going in for a alignment tomorrow or Monday.

Get covers, you'll be pissed when you can thread it. I used a bat today and a hair dryer. did about a 60° bend not all the way up. No rub, unless a pretty solid bump I've noticed a slight rub.

To me 50% wasn't even worth it. And the cops in my town are pretty laid back about tint.

Just get a prescription for tint and you wont have to worry about the percent. I love when a cop pulls me over and he has to walk away with his tail between his legs bc Im legal.
