Hey my name is LT from SquidWheelies.com. I've been into motorcycles my whole life and am currently working on gettin into cars. I've wanted an Impreza as long as I can remember, so I'm in the market for a crashed 02 or newer WRX, but I'm open to picking up something older just to bang around for the winter. I don't know much about subarus or cars in general, so im here to get some advice. The guys from MNSBR pointed me over here, and I look forward to this venture.
Welcome dude! My 03' wrx may go back on sell if I get this job I'm going after so I'll keep ya posted.
Welcome! I have an '02 WRX that i've thought about selling if your interested. Either way, welcome to the site.
welcome. i too am new to the subaru world. theres all sorts of info on this site as well as links to important stuff on nasioc and other subaru sites.
Small world... This is Alex Deters (Graduated with your brother)... Just buy something you can afford... ...best way to learn is do it yourself and with help from people on these types of sites... No different than turning a wrench on a bike.
whats up alex? i remember running into you a few times in school. is it difficult to find cosmetically damaged WRX's? I was thinkin maybe something with hail damage or something like that. I could care less how the vehicle looks, I just want to start driving. My buddy's been on copart for me looking into it. how well do the older models perform? would it be worth buying a 99 or something similar with a 2.5? or should i stick to my goal of obtaining an 02 or newer 2.0T?
WELL, i KINDA LIKE MY 93... but in stock trim it doesn't hold a candle to my my 06' wrx. (I'm from St Cloud too)
on wet tar. it does kick out around corners much better than the 06' does, if you wanna go for a ride some time you should look for the crappiest red suby driving in St Cloud. (you'll know it when you see it)
lol i usually have my eye out for subarus and i don't recall seeing it. If i do ill throw out a wave...
mine is the red wagon that has 2 colors of red body pannels, really rusty, looks like the hoods falling off, and has a yellow "baby on road" sticker on the rear window.
