Hey everyone! I'm new to mnsubaru, but not new to forums... I'm coming over from mnaudi, which is a long story. To make it short: In january i bought a '00 s4; a little less than a month ago the engine bay started on fire and it was totalled. Finally, the settlement was just made this week and i'm picking up my new to me car tomorrow morning. I'm buying this saabaru:http://krenzen.com/preowned/index.php from krenzen of duluth. I've always wanted a wrx wagon, which this pretty much is, but went with the audi on impulse because i thought i was getting a killer deal...:ugh: I can't wait to get this car tomorrow morning, i was hooked on it instantly. I think i'm getting a fair price too, i chewed them down to $17k flat. I'm also excited about having the 4yr/50k warranty. As far as mods go, i plan to buy an accessport asap (i'm not sure if they make saab ones, or if a wrx one will work) then a tbe (not sure if i have to buy a saab specific one on that either...) then i'll probably upgrade to a in dash dvd/nav head unit. So if anyone has some of these things they want to sell, let me know! I'm located up in Duluth, and go to umd. if there is anyone on here from that area we should get in touch! anyway i just wanted to say hi, and that i should be sticking around here for quite a while!

audi's and vws should come with fire extinguishers. welcome indeed, the reliability of subaru may baffle you at first, but you will get used to it ;)

Thanks! My parents bought both of their vehicles from the same salesman, so he immediately knocked a grand off the price, then I somehow was able to get him down another grand. That price is waaaaay under retail value. They are detailing it and all that good stuff for me too.

For whoever clicks on that link, just select saab and press search, it's the only saab they have.

Welcome to the Saabaru owner’s club. You will have a very unique car in Duluth. I’m a Duluth native now living in St. Paul, and I get up to Duluth pretty often. I think I’ve only seen one other 92x up there, and I believe it is a Linear. Give a wave if you see a CGM Aero, as it’s likely me.

    Also, check out Saab92x.com.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I picked my car up yesterday. All in all i had a really good experience with Krenzen of Duluth, i'd recomend anyone to buy a car there. The car is great, a blast to drive. I took it out on the twisty backroads last night and it handles far better than any car i've owned. I'm sure it will be better with something other than R92's on there too. Though I did open it up on the same stretch i've always opened my cars up on. It hit 110... My s4 hit 130 easy on the same stretch. My old gsr hit 110...:eek3: ... But all in good time, i wasn't expecting it to be anything like the s4 was right away. Anyway, looks like you guys are a really good community, and I'm glad to finally be a part of it!
