    Hi, I'm NewbieScoob

I'm new here and I will like to be on here as much as possible to share with all you Subaru owners. I don't currently own a Subaru but I'm on the market for finding my first car. And eventually, I'm interested in buying my first Subaru, either an STI or WRX (model years: 2004-2005). But lately, I've been really interest in the newer model STI and WRX (2008-2013) and found some decent prices around here and out of states.

    Any thought guys?
Should I buy older Subaru or a newer Subaru?

Welcome, I just recently went from an '05 wrx, to an '11 wrx, and I can 100% recommend an '09+ wrx or any year sti. The 2.0 seriously lacks in most ways compared to the 2.5 engine. I even had a fully supported 16gxt on it and it still fell short of expectations. Also, try to avoid the 06-08 wrx as the td04 is small compared to the vf52 turbo found on the '09+. Just my 2 cents for you. Hope you find what your looking for and good luck.
