I'm looking at getting my next wave of parts ordered in the next day or two. I'm looking at getting a dp and intake setup along with ic hoses(not for performance so much but for the red theme). Ben can get Perrin or TXS for the dp, Erik(Dream) recommended Invidia, and Jason said save money and get ERZ. I'm even more confused now as to DP than before I started asking people for help. More than likely I will get the KandN typhoon for the intake setup and Perrin for the hoses. The car already has Cobb cbe and ap. Does anyone forsee any problems with this setup? I'm hoping to get around 300whp and be done with the car and hopefully with the new stage 2 map be P0244 free. Money is not an object, I want reliability and quality.

Edit - I'd like the longer dp also that would remove not only the dp cat but also the 2nd and 3rd cats before the cbe.

Have you considered changing turbos? I'd go with GT32 twin scroll turbo for 300whp for street. This is a relly nice turbo, great spool up with twin scroll technology. The stock turbo just isn't efficient enough to make 300whp all day 24/7 IMO.

Some people have gotten 300whp out of the stock turbo, but that's making it work hard as well. You can hit it with a well tuned ECU and supporting mods for sure but for me I'd change turbos.

Steve-O...its too bad I didn't know you were up there - I was just in Grand Forks two weekends ago and I could've stopped on the way home. How much for the Injen piece and are you coming to the cities anytime soon? Worst case scenario my friends I stayed with up there are coming to the cities in a couple weeks and I can check and see if they could pick it up from you if this is the dp I decide to go with. Thanks!

If money isn't an issue and since you already have the Cobb catback, why don't you look into getting the Cobb downpipe?

You are pretty much guaranteed a perfet fitment, top quality build, and won't have any problems with you AccessPort.

I did kick that around and Jason said the cobb was the stromung with a cobb label slapped on it. He said if I were to get that one I should save the money and get the stromung. What I'm wondering though if there's something better out there but as Jake said earlier I may be overanalyzing this as most of the bellmouths are fairly similar. I'm waiting to hear back on price from a couple different places so we'll see what happens.

Downpipe is getting installed today. I should be running stage 2 by tonite provided nothing goes horribly wrong. While its in there the intake silencer is also getting removed. w00t!
